Since 1979 we have led systematic exploration of the cave in the east part of the masive Tennengebirge in austrian limestone’s Alps. Region is surrounded by the valley of the river Lammer, which neighbours with masive Dachstein on the east and Hagengebirge on the west.
From Salzburg this region is distant at about 50 km on south. Masive Tennengebirge is main build from karst rocks at thickness which exceed 1000 m what enable uprising the huge cave’s system- both wide and deep.
